Permanent Eyeliner Tattoo London
Permanent eyeliner tattoo in North London. Natural lash enhancement and soft liner designed for you.
What Is Permanent Eyeliner?
Permanent eyeliner (cosmetic tattoo eyeliner) uses specialised pigments and techniques to enhance the lash line or create soft eyeliner definition that gradually softens over time.
Every treatment is tailored to your eye shape, skin type, and comfort level.
The aim is always refined enhancement and balance- never harsh un-natural looks.

Eyelash Enhancement Tattoo – Subtle Permanent Eyeliner
An eyelash enhancement tattoo is the most subtle form of permanent eyeliner. Pigment is carefully placed along and between the lashes to create the appearance of a darker, fuller lash line without looking like obvious eyeliner.
Also known as a lash line tattoo or lash enhancement, this treatment is ideal if you want your eyes to look naturally more defined while still being able to wear your usual eye makeup whenever you choose.
It can be especially useful for anyone with fair or sparse lashes, hooded eyes or those who simply want their eyes to look more defined without applying eyeliner every day.
Price: Starts at £329
Classic Eyeliner Tattoo
A classic eyeliner tattoo gives you beautifully defined eyes without having to apply eyeliner every day.
Pigment is carefully tattooed along the lash line to create a smooth, visible line that can be tailored to suit your eye shape and preferred style.
More defined than an eyelash enhancement, permanent eyeliner can be created in different thicknesses, from a fine and elegant line to a slightly bolder look. A small flick or subtle wing can also be added where suitable.
Your eyeliner is designed specifically for your eye shape, features and personal style, rather than using the same shape on everyone. The aim is to create flattering definition that enhances your eyes and still looks beautiful as it softens and ages over time.
Classic eyeliner tattooing is ideal if you wear eyeliner regularly, find applying it difficult or simply want to wake up with your eyes already defined.
Price: Starts at £329

Eyeliner FAQs
How long does permanent eyeliner last?
Permanent eyeliner is designed to be long-lasting, but it will gradually fade and soften over time. Most people can expect their eyeliner tattoo to remain visible for several years, although exactly how long it lasts varies from person to person.
Your skin type, lifestyle, sun exposure, skincare routine, pigment used and the style of eyeliner can all affect how quickly it fades. A soft lash enhancement may appear to fade sooner than a stronger, more defined eyeliner.
If your eyeliner becomes lighter over time, a colour boost or refresh appointment can bring back the definition.
Does permanent eyeliner hurt?
Most clients find permanent eyeliner much more comfortable than they expected.
A topical numbing product is used to help keep you comfortable throughout the treatment. You may feel some light scratching, tickling or vibration along the lash line, but the treatment shouldn’t feel like having a traditional body tattoo.
The eye area can feel a little sensitive, and everyone’s pain tolerance is different, but most clients are pleasantly surprised by how manageable the treatment is.
If you’re nervous about having your eyeliner tattooed, let Dana know - she’ll talk you through the process and make sure you’re comfortable before getting started.
Is permanent eyeliner safe?
Yes, permanent eyeliner is generally considered safe when carried out by a properly trained and experienced permanent makeup artist using appropriate hygiene and safety procedures.
Because the treatment is performed so close to the eyes, choosing an experienced artist is particularly important. Dana uses sterile, single-use needles and follows strict hygiene procedures to minimise the risk of infection or other complications.
Before your appointment, we’ll also discuss your medical history, medications and any eye or skin conditions that could affect the treatment. In some circumstances, we may recommend speaking to your doctor or eye specialist before going ahead.
As with any cosmetic tattoo, there are some risks, which will be fully explained to you before your treatment. You’ll also receive aftercare instructions to help your eyeliner heal safely.
How long does permanent eyeliner take to heal?
Permanent eyeliner usually takes around 7–10 days for the initial healing, although the skin continues to settle and the colour develops over the following few weeks.
Immediately after your treatment, the eyeliner will usually look darker and more intense than the final result. You may also have some mild redness or swelling around the eyes, particularly during the first day or two.
As the area heals, you may notice some light flaking or tiny scabs along the lash line. It’s important to let these come away naturally and avoid picking or rubbing the area, as this can affect how the pigment heals.
The colour may look lighter or slightly uneven during the healing process. This is normal. Once everything has fully settled, we can assess the healed result at your second session and perfect any areas that need a little more colour or definition.
Can I wear makeup after permanent eyeliner?
It’s best to avoid eye makeup while your permanent eyeliner is healing, particularly mascara, eyeliner and eye shadow close to the treated area.
Makeup can introduce bacteria to the freshly tattooed skin and may increase the risk of irritation or infection. We recommend waiting until the area has fully healed and any flaking or scabbing has finished before applying eye makeup again.
When you do return to wearing makeup, we recommend using fresh or thoroughly cleaned products and applicators, particularly mascara, to avoid introducing bacteria around the newly healed lash line.
You can still wear makeup on other areas of your face while your eyeliner heals- just take care to keep products and makeup removers away from the treated area.
Can I wear contact lenses when having permanent eyeliner?
You’ll need to remove your contact lenses before your permanent eyeliner treatment, so please bring your glasses with you to your appointment.
Your eyes may be slightly swollen, watery or sensitive afterwards, so we recommend leaving your contact lenses out until your eyes feel completely comfortable again. For many people this is around 24–48 hours, although you may need to wait a little longer if there is still any irritation or swelling.
Once your eyes feel normal and the initial swelling has settled, you can usually return to wearing your contact lenses as normal.
How much does permanent eyeliner cost in London?
Permanent eyeliner prices in London can vary considerably depending on the artist, the style of eyeliner you choose and what is included in the treatment. You can expect to see prices ranging from around £200 to £800 or more.
A subtle eyelash enhancement will often cost less than a thicker classic or winged eyeliner, as more detailed styles can require additional time and work.
When choosing a permanent makeup artist, we recommend looking beyond price. Permanent eyeliner is a tattoo on one of the most delicate and visible areas of your face, so experience, technique and the quality of an artist’s work should be much more important than simply finding the cheapest treatment. Take time to look through their portfolio and choose an artist whose style you genuinely like.
Our permanent eyeliner treatments start from £329, with your second session included in the treatment price.
Permanent eyeliner is usually completed over two sessions. The second appointment allows us to assess how your eyeliner has healed, perfect any areas that need additional pigment and make small adjustments where needed.

Can I get tattooed eyeliner if I have hooded eyes?
Yes! Permanent eyeliner can work beautifully on hooded eyes, but choosing the right shape and thickness is especially important.
With hooded eyes, some or all of the eyelid may be hidden when the eyes are open. A thick eyeliner or traditional wing can sometimes disappear into the fold or make the visible lid space appear smaller. For this reason, a fine classic eyeliner or subtle eyelash enhancement can often be a more flattering option.
Dana will look at your eye shape both open and closed before deciding where the eyeliner should sit. The aim is to enhance and define your eyes rather than simply following a standard eyeliner shape.
If you have very hooded or mature eyelids, we can discuss which style will give you the best result during your consultation..
