Powder brows and Ombre brows are very similar in technique.
The only difference in look is that a powder brow is the same saturation throughout the brow and an Ombre brow will have some lighter areas (for example, the head of the brow).
These methods are created by producing a series of dots (rather than lines like you do with microblading) that get layered up- resulting in a soft powdery look when healed.
These techniques can be customised to each client to be light and airy or dark and bold and anything in between.
Microblading is a permanent makeup technique that involves using a hand tool to make scratches in the eyebrow. This creates the look of adding hairs to the brow. It generally lasts several years and will fade over time, although it may not completey leave the skin.
A powder brow is a technique used in permanent makeup that creates a look of having a light powder on the brow.
It looks different to microblading as the brow is shaded in, rather than filled with lines. This technique is perfect for anyone who doesn’t want to apply makeup on their brows and will give more definition than microblading.
This technique is suitable for all ages and skin types.
This style of brow tends to last longer than microblading. It will lose it's vibrancy and will need touch ups throughout time.
Although it may fade away, it may not completely fade for some people.
A combination brow is a technique used in permanent makeup that combines microblading to create hair strokes and a powder brow to shade in the brow. This look looks natural but defined.
This style of brow tends to last longer than microblading but the strokes may blur over time. It will lose it's vibrancy and will need touch ups throughout time.
Although it may fade away, it may not completely fade for some people.
In allot of cases, red or blue (and other colour) eyebrows can be colour corrected.
Dana may recommend lightening before if the colour is too dark. We can also do this is in house.

Dana will discuss colour choices before you start the treatment. She will show you a colour chart and go through the options.
Normally, a conservative approach is used and a lighter colour will be used to start. The colour can always be made darker on the second session if need be.
Feel free to wear your normal brow makeup and bring your pencil (or other makeup) with you so that we get an idea of how you normally wear your brows.
Dana will map your brows before the treatment starts. This is a drawing that is done with a wax pencil that gives the shape of what the brow will look like.
It's drawn based on the measurements of where your facial features are. This can be altered slightly, but we do stick to some rules that will give you the best looking brows that flatter your face.
We don't like to go outside of the natural brow by much. This way, you won't have to maintain the hair.
Natural is the best way.
If you're looking for an alternative shape, we can do this too. Just get in touch to discuss it.
It's important to note that most people’s eyebrows are usually not symmetrical. We strive for 100% symmetry, but it’s not always possible. We think that the natural look is the best way to go.
We stick to the shape that you currently have and enhance it so that it's as symmetrical as possible without them looking fake.
Our goal is to make your brows look as natural as possible. We want to avoid your brows looking like they're tattooed.
Nope! We prefer a natural shape, so there's no need to remove any hair.
If you get them waxed or shaped and want to keep that shape, get it done at least 48 hours before and we can keep that shape.
If you normally dye your brows, feel free to do so, but you'll need to do it at least a week before you get the treatment.
Once all of the scabbing has come off, you can wear makeup on your brow.
